This newsletter is just to let you know that I will be seeing clients throughout the holiday season and only be closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day. My last day for appointments will be on January 9th before my departure for an extended holiday in Mexico. I will be back on April 1st.
I have written in previous newsletters of spring being the best time to commit to a new project because the chances of its success are far greater. Taking a lesson from nature, we do our planting at this time rather than in January.
Inevitably we start to feel aches and pains as we get older. What we were able to get away with when younger starts to catch up with us. For this reason, it’s important to follow better habits before the aches become too debilitating.
In this newsletter, I want to tell you about one of the seemingly best kept secrets around the Carrot Common. Just vertically above the Big Carrot and clearly visible from my clinic window is a beautiful roof garden and herb-garden. I will often spend my lunch time here. Perhaps I pick up a light salad at the Big Carrot and take the stairway just five yards from the exit. It’s a little slice of paradise and a break from the frenetic pace of Toronto.
In this newsletter, I want to quote the weekly message from my yoga teacher.
In this newsletter, I am examining ways of adapting to a new way of looking at life.
It is with great pleasure that I announce my return from vacation and I look forward to seeing you again.
This is to wish you all a very Happy New Year and may this bring an end to the pandemic and a return to some degree of normalcy. I will be away at my second home for my annual sabbatical until March 25th and then back again to support your journey with massage therapy and shiatsu.
As many of you know, I was away in Mexico for the past six months and returned to Canada during the first week of August. As a property owner in Mexico, I was able to receive both vaccines before my return to Canada and, for that, I am very greatful. Still, I believe there is no room for complacency and, for however long it takes, I will follow guidlines for social distancing and mask-wearing. At my clinic, I will be practicing all hygiene protocols as required by Ontario Public Health both for your own and my safety. Certainly, I prefer to err on the side of caution.
